Differences & disabilites has been broken down into four sections to enable players to block or allow specific things.
- Mild differences: these are small, ignorable alterations or genetic quirks, such as sectoral heterochromia (different coloured eyes). These wouldn't necessarily affect the way you write your character, but may provide something fun to play with.
- Moderate differences: these are differences and disabilities which will have an impact on how you play your character, such as blindness or muteness, but won't affect the character's life expectancy.
- Severe disabilities: these are severe or debilitating disabilities which can affect character life expectancy.
- Predispositions: these increase the likelihood of a character developing mental health problems later in life, but it's down to you whether they do.
For genetic disorders, learning differences, disabilities and physical differences check the top table; for predispositions to mental health problems, check the lower one.
